Final Fantasy XV Release Date, Anime, and Feature Film Announced Source:

It seems like Square Enix has a lot riding on Final Fantasy XV, the much-delayed entry into their core series of games. In addition to announcing a release date of September 30th, 2016 for the game itself, Square Enix also announced that there will be a five-episode anime prequel series, subtitled Brotherhood. the first episode of which is already available to watch right here:

As if that weren’t enough, there will also be a full-length CGI feature film, subtitled Kingsglaive, detailing the events occurring immediately before the game takes place. The movie will be available digitally, and features the voice acting talents of Game of Thrones stars Lena Headey and Sean Bean (who will probably die, which isn’t a real spoiler, we’re just assuming), as well as Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul.
