Ryan Coogler’s long-awaited Black Panther sequel is expected to arrive in theatres on Mar 6, 2022, and though that mind sounds like an eternity, we know its all part of Marvel Studios’ master plan.
Last night the stunning Angela Bassett was a guest on The Tonight Show. During the interview, host Jimmy Fallon asked how the Black Panther sequel was coming along, and the actress happily responded by saying it’s “going along, coming along. Amazing. Absolutely.”
It was apparent the actress was hesitant to divulge too much, so when Fallon followed up the previous question by revealing a minor Black Panther spoiler she had told him backstage, the actress promptly shut down the host’s claim, saying “Jimmy… I was telling you that in confidence! I cannot!”

The plot or cast of the Coogler’s sequel has yet to be revealed, but thanks to Fallon revealing the goods, we can confirm T’Challa will be sporting a much different look in Black Panther 2.
According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, if everything goes as planned, Captain Marvel 2 is expected to be released on February 18, 2022, followed by the Black Panther 2, and then the third Ant-Man movie on July 29, 2022.
