Neo Takes The Blue Pill In Office Space-Themed ‘Matrix’ Mashup Video By DeepFake

As many of you already know, in the 1999 science fiction film The Matrix, Neo chooses to take the red pill instead of the blue, revealing the unpleasant truth and awakening him to the real world. But… what if he had taken the blue and remained in blissful ignorance instead? Luckily for us, DeepFake answered that question by putting Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving into Office Space-themed Matrix mashup video that will completely blow you away.

Neo Takes The Blue Pill was created by YouTube deepfaker Ctrl Shift Face and visual effects artist Chris Ume. The video face swaps Ron Livingston to look like Keanu Reeves and Gary Cole to resemble Hugo Weaving, but it was Agent’s Smith’s glasses on Bill Lumbergh that was the real icing on the cake.

As some of you might remember, a few weeks back YouTuber EZRyderX47’s Back to the Future video featuring Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland went viral. In the scene, Doc (Downey Jr.) and Marty (Holland) are trying to figure out how they managed to time-travel back to the 1950s and why Marty’s mother is falling in love with own her own son.

What did you think of the latest deepfake video? On a separate but related note, are you looking forward to Matrix 4? Was the movie needed or should they have left the franchise as is? Let us know in the comments below.
