Early this morning the first official teaser for Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz’s top-secret thriller Antebellum was released. Even though we have no idea what’s going on, given that Antebellum is from the producer of Get Out and Us, we couldn’t be more on board. The upcoming movie, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on April 24, 2020, stars Janelle Monáe, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Marque Richardson. The story follows Veronica Henley (Monáe), a successful author who finds herself trapped in a terrifying new reality and her only hope of survival is to uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.
