After months of rampant speculation and crackpot theories, Game of Thrones fans may finally be able to rest easy when it comes to the question of whether Kit Harington will return in season six.
Speaking to Belgian magazine Humo, Harington contradicted his previous statements about the fate of his character, Jon Snow, by claiming that fans haven’t seen the last of him on the hit HBO show.
“Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over,” said the actor, who is currently 28. “One thing’s for sure: The day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects.”
While the question of what exactly Harington’s involvement with the show going forward remains unanswered, at least now we can rest a bit easier in knowing that Harington’s trademark shaggy locks and dreamy looks weren’t snuffed out completely when his character seemingly died at the end of the last season.
Jon Snow Watch 2015 may finally be at an end; how he figures into the story from here on out (and whether he’s dead or alive) are still very much open to speculation, though.
